Your JourneyDay 1 Amsterdam - Vianen : Embarkation is at 1.00 pm at 2pm the ship will depart for Vianen, a small fortified village on the Lek River Day 2 Vianen – Schoonhoven - Kinderdijk (32 – 56 km) Start your first day on the bike by cycling along a beautiful route to Schoonhoven, nicknamed Zilverstad (Silver City). Cycle to the famous windmills of Kinderdijk, 19 large ones all in a row. Go by bike and fast ferry to Drodrecht, one of Holland’s oldest towns. Day 3 Willemstad - Bergen op Zoom (42 or 50 km) During breakfast cruise to Willemstad. From here ride to Tholen a picturesque village. Then onto your destination Bergen op Zoom. After dinner take a walk through the old town Day 4 Bergen op Zoom - Kreekrak lock - Antwerp (21 or 35 km) In the morning you will enjoy a small bike ride through the beautiful "Wouwse Plantage" surrounding Bergen op Zoom. Early afternoon reboard your barge and cruise into the beautiful old city centre of Antwerp, not only known as the diamond city but also as the birthplace of Rubens. Day 5 Antwerp – Temse – St Amands (34 or 49 km) This morning cycle out of the port to the Zeechelde, following the tidal river upstream to St Amands. This is a beautiful bike path with magnificient landscape surrounding the Schelde River. Day 6 Dendermonde – Ghent (52 km) Continue to follow the River Schelde to the lively university town of Ghent. Free time in the afternoon to explore the city. Day 7 Ghent – Bruges (22 or 45 km) Cycle through the lovely countryside of Flanders to the most beautiful of all Flemish cities, Bruges.
