Your Journey - A day in Provence

You will be picked up from your hotel in Avignon and taken to the Pont du Gard: the best preserved aqueduct of the Roman period, dating back to the 1st century and classified by UNESCO.
Next you will visit Les Baux de Provence: this medieval village is located on a rocky spur in the Alpilles mountain range. Walk around its historical centre, beautiful houses of the 16th century, the St-Vincent church and pretty Romanesque-style buildings.
We stop at the Antiques in Saint Rémy de Provence (Triumphal Arch and mausoleum) located in an olive-tree field. Then follow picturesque roads through olive groves, vineyards and fields to see some of the most beautiful villages in Luberon.

The village of Roussillon is famous for its red and yellow ochre cliffs. The hilltop village of Gordes is completely made with dry stones and ranks among the most beautiful villages in France.
Enjoy a photo stop at Senanque Abbey (from June 15th to July 15th only) to capture the blooming lavender fields. Visit of the Lavender Museum - entrance ticket included. In July and August you also get a demonstration of distillation during the harvest.

On Sunday enjoy L’Isle sur la Sorgue, the village famous for its antique shops and weekly market. Depending on the day of your tour, the order of village visits change to coincide with market day and lunch time (lunch not included).
