World-famous Geneva is the starting point for your tour. The fountain in Lake Geneva salutes you and bids farewell as you leave Switzerland and embark on a cycling tour which could not be more varied. Constantly accompanied by the Rhône River, you either cycle directly along the riverbank or sometimes the route takes you away for a while and leads you through charming villages, sunflower fields and vineyards. Once the mighty Mont Blanc disappears into the horizon, you dive deeper into the French ambience and you will be drawn into their ‚savoir-vivre’. A glass of wine, freshly baked baguette and time to enjoy it all – this is the genuine French way of living’.

Your Journey - Stage 1

Day 1: Geneva

Day 2: Geneva - Seyssel (60 km)

Cycle with grand views of the Savoyer Alps and Mont Blanc.

Day 3: Seyssel – Champagneux (60 km)

Cycle a valley steeped in vineyards along the River Rhone.

Day 4: Champagneux circuit (25 km)

Day 5 Champagneux – Meximieux (70 km)

A chance to visit Perouges, considered one of the most beautiful villages in France.

Day 6: Meximieux – Lyon (50 km)

Cycle through lush meadows the along the riverbank to Lyon. Visit the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 7: Departure

2 days with long ascents otherwise nearly flat.

Your Journey - Stage 2

Day 1: Lyon

Day 2: Lyon – Serrieres (69 km)

Highlights are the futuristic Museum, des Confluences, and Vienne’s Roman vestiges. Cycle the Cotes du Rhone vineyards.

Day 3: Serreres – Valence (60 km)

Charming villages with medieval centres dot the route to Valence, the northern approach to Provence.

Day 4: Valence – Montelimar (65 km)

Peach, apple and kiwifruit orchards thrive in the fertile Rhone valley. Reach Montelimar known for its nougat.

Day 5: Montelimar – Bourg St Andeol (30 km)

Time to enjoy Viviers with its 12C cathedral, amazing views across the Rhone valley and picturesque Bourg St Andeol.

Day 6 Bourg St Andeol – Orange (50 km)

See the 600 year old bridge at the little town of Pont St Esprit with its 25 arches and Orange’s impressive Roman theatre.

Day 7: Departure
