Your Journey

Day 1 Arrive Amsterdam:

Board between 2 – 4 pm. At 5 pm depart on a short dinner cruise to Zaandam. Time for a stroll through the city on arrival.

Day 2 Zaandam - Zaanse Schans, Zaandam – Haarlem (24 or 34 km):

Bike to the open-air museum of Zaanse Shans where you will see beautiful windmills, an authentic traditional Dutch village, a cheese factory and a clog maker. Cruise or bike to Haarlem.

Day 3 Haarlem - Keukenhof - Oude Wetering (39 or 55 km)

Bike to the Keukenhof, arguably the most famous flower park in the world. Admire hundreds of thousands of tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and many other flowers in full bloom. After your visit, you will continue by bike to Kudelstaart, where the ship waits on the shores of the Westeinder Lakes. Entrance fee for the Keukenhof is payable on the spot.

Day 4 Oude Wetering – Amsterdam + Waterland circuit ride (28 km):

Early morning cycle to the flower auction in Aalsmeer (not open in the weekends and holidays*). Early each day, millions of flowers are auctioned and instantly sent out to all corners of the world. By 10 am return to the barge where an elaborate brunch will be ready. Either cruise or bike to Amsterdam, the last stage of the journey. During the afternoon and evening, you have time to visit the inner city flower markets, a museum, do some shopping or even take a boat trip through the canals.
N.B. *The Aalsmeer flower auction is not open on weekends or on public holidays. For this reason, for tours where such a visit is scheduled for a weekend or holiday, will change the order of the programme and visit the flower auction on a weekday instead: this way, for each departure date, all highlights can be included.
