Day 1 Amsterdam :

Embarkation is at 2.00 pm. After unpacking there is still time to explore this famous city.

Day 2 Amsterdam – Vianen – Breukelen – Vianen (36 – 45 km)

Start your first day on the bike by cycling out of Amsterdam to the historical town of Muiden, with its 14th century waterfront castle. Ride along the Vecht River in an area famous for its beautiful mansions and small castles with their large gardens.

Day 3 Vianen – Kinderdijk – Dordrecht (56 km)

Cycle to the famous windmills of Kinderdijk, 19 large ones all in a row. Go by bike and fast ferry to Drodrecht, one of Holland’s oldest towns.

Day 4 Dordrecht – Willemstad - Tholen – Antwerp (43 km)

During breakfast cruise to Willemstad then bike to the amazing Kreekraksluis (lock). Board your barge and cruise into the beautiful old city centre of Antwerp, not only known as the diamond city but also as the birthplace of Rubens.

Day 5 Antwerp – Temse – Dendermonde (47 or 59 km)

This morning cycle out of the port to the Zeechelde, following the tidal river upstream to St Amands. This is a beautiful bike path with magnificient landscape surrounding the Schelde River.

Day 6 Dendermonde – Ghent (40 or 53 km)

Continue to follow the River Schelde to the lively university town of Ghent. Free time in the afternoon to explore the city.

Day 7 Ghent – Bruges (45 km)

Cycle through the lovely countryside of Flanders to the most beautiful of all Flemish cities, Bruges.

Day 8:

Tour ends in Bruges after breakfast.
