Croatian Coast & Islands: Dubrovnik to Split & v.v.

 

On our Croatian Coast and Islands Premium Ship Tour we will show you the beauty of the South Dalmatian coastline and island world on our latest deluxe ship. Start your exploration in ancient Split or Dubrovnik, UNESCO World Heritage sites with thousands of years of history. Swim, bike and sail through the island world of Dalmatia for one week stopping at beautiful islands such as Hvar and Korcula and Lastovo. Start or finish in the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic, Dubrovnik, surrounded by its imposing walls. Breath taking natural beauty and cultural highlights accompany you throughout the day. The direction of this tour alternates each week.

Your Journey

Day 1 (Friday) Boarding in Dubrovnik

Check-in on board starts between 2 and 2.30 pm. At about 4.30 pm, your guide will take you on an extended stroll through the narrow streets of the lively Old Town. Overnight in Dubrovnik allowing time for you to experience the ambience of this lively town.

Day 2 (Saturday): Dubrovnik - Mljet Islnd (28 km)

After breakfast cruise to the green and forested island, Mljet - known as the honey island. With 70 % of the island covered in woodland it’s one of the greenest islands in the Mediterranean area. Cycle from Sobra to Pomena

Day 3 (Sunday) Peljesac Peninsular: Trstenik - Orebic - Korcula Island (25 km)

A short cruise brings us to the harbour of Trstenik of the Peljesac Perninsula.  Today's bike ride take us along the coastline from Trstenik to Orebic where we meet up with the boat for lunch and set of towards the town of Korcula with its fishbone alleyways.

Day 4 (Monday) Korcula Island: Korcula town - Vela Luka (60km)

Cycle across the charming island of Korčula. Enjoy the mild Mediterranean climate and on the way enjoy the view of Pupnat Bay, which is one of the favourite photo spots for our guests; a contrast of shallow turquoise bays and deep blue channel waters. Dinner is on board Harmonia in the sheltered bay of Vela Luka.

Day 5 (Tuesday) Vela Luka - Vis Island (32km)

The day starts with a relaxing cruise to the Island of Vis. From the town of Vis we cycle once around the entire island with a coffee stop in the harbour of Komiza. The night is spent in the harbour of Vis 

Day 6 (Wednesday) Hvar Island: Hvar - Stari Grad - Jelsa  (23km)

>We cruise to Hvar town, enjoy a stroll through the city.  Marvel at the Renaissance square and enjoy the view of the Spanish fortress towering high above the city.  The bike tour takes you from Hvar through small villages and lavender fields to the lovely harbour of Jelsa. Our ride continues through the ancient Greek plains, now a protected UNESCO heritage site, to the village of Stari Grad where you spend the night. 

Day 7 (Thursday) Brac Island: Pucisca - Split (25km)

We cruise to the island of Brac,todays last bike tour from Milna to the picturesque harour town of Pucisca. The boat awaits us here for a final crossing to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Split. A guided city tour through Split is offered - explore the former Diocletian Palace and lose yourself in the labyrinthine alley-ways. The evening is spent on board in celebration together with guides, crew and guests.

Day 8 (Friday) Cruise ends in Split.
After breakfast disembarkation.

TOUR ALSO OPERATES IN OPPOSITE DIRECTION - SPLIT TO DUBROVNIK

 

Terrain

Moderate to energetic. Altitudes between 200 - 500 m. Daily tours of up to 45 km through hilly and mountainous terrain. Electric bikes available and recommended.
