Your JourneyDay 1: Arrive Galway Day 2: Galway to Westport 61kms. Transfer to the village of Cong. Cycle north through rolling green farmland to Lough Mask. Leave the lake and climb over the Partry Mountains to Westport. Day 3: Westport to Leenane 48kms. Cycle between Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay then head south to stunning Delphi Valley, one of Connemara’s highlights. Overnight Leenane overlooking Killary Harbour Day 4: Leenane to Roundstone 59kms. Cycle into the heart of Connemara. Visit Kylemore Abbey. Follow the scenic coastal road to Clifden, capital of Connemara. Cycle remote bogland by small lakes to Roundstone. Day 5: Roundstone - day free Day 6: Roundstone to Carraroe 51kms. Cycle by beautiful waterways and bog road to the village of Carraroe. Day 7: Carraroe/Aran Islands/Galway 35kms. Cycle to Rossaveel and board the boat to Inis Mor, largest of the Aran Islands. Tour the island passing ancient stone forts and monastic sites. Return to Galway for the final night.
