Follow a route through the most beautiful regions of Southern Bavaria where you’ll discover quaint villages set in scenic landscapes of lakes and alps.

Your JourneyDay 1: Arrive Munich Visit the Hofbrauhaus and numerous museums or just wander the lanes and alley ways lined with centuries old buildings. Day 2: Munich – Lake Starnberg (approx. 35/58 km) Bike from Munich via Lakes Wesslinger and Pilsensee to Lake Ammersee. Visit the Abbey Andechs then continue to Lake Starnberg. Day 3: Lake Starnberg - Murnau am Staffelsee (approx. 45 km) A relaxing day in the saddle with swim options and lakeside cycling. Day 4: Murnau am Staffelsee – Füssen/Schwangau (approx. 60 km) Cycle in Central Europe’s largest moor area to the splendid city of Füssen, surrounded by magnificent alpine peaks and blue-green mountain lakes. Iin the city’s pedestrian zone see the outline of the 2,000 year old Roman road Via Claudia. Day 5: Füssen/Schwangau – Nesselwang (approx. 35 km) Cycle with the castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau in your sights, the highlights of today’s ride. Continue past numerous lakes to Nesselwang. Day 6: Nesselwang - Oberstaufen (approx. 54 km) Some uphill climbs to be rewarded with a beautiful alpine panorama. The cycle an easy path along Lake Grosser Alpsee. Day 7: Oberstaufen – Lindau/surroundings (approx. 54 km) Cycle through the green landscape of the Allgau till Lake Constance comes into view. Day 8: Lindau/surroundings Arrangements end after breakfast. Terrain / GradeEasy - Cycle mostly on paved, well-signposted cycle paths and quiet roads, mostly tarsealed.. A few short climbs. |
