Your JourneyDay 1: Island of Corfu (Arrival) Board your vessel from 2 pm onwards. Dinner and overnight stay in Corfu town. Day 2: Corfu - Sivota - Lefkas (approx 28 km) Cruise to Sivota and cycle to Parga, the only tourist centre on the western coast of the Greek mainland. Parga is a pretty town with a Medieval fort that towers over the old town. Meet the boat to cruise to Nidri on Lefkas Island Day 3: Island of Lefkas and Cephalonia (29 km) Early morning cycle from Nidri to nearby waterfalls where there may be enough water flowing for a morning swim. Along quiet roads through mountains past Sivros, we cycle to the harbour in Vasiliki to have a short wander in the historical town centre. After a short sail we anchor at Porto Katsiki, one of the most famous beaches in Greece, for swimming. From here the ship sails to Fiskardo to spend the night. After dinner explore this harbour town with its colourful houses and numerous cafes and bars along the harbour promenade. Day 4: Island of Cephalonia (39 km) Cycle a high route from Fiskardo to Sami enjoying unforgettable panoramic views. Continue through the interior of the island and finally reach the east coast of Cephalonia and the harbour of Sami. Along the way visit the stalactite and stalagmite caves of Melissani, which can only be viewed from rowboats. Late afternoon sail to Ithaca. Day 5: Islands of Meganisi and Ithaca (21 + 13 km): Ithaca , the homeland of the mythical figure Odysseus is a hilly island with a beautiful landscape typical of the Ionian Islands: gnarled olive trees, crystal clear water and friendly Islanders away from the beaten tourist track. From Frikes, our ship takes us to the island of Meganisi, a tiny island with lots of charm. Day 6: Islands of Meganisi and Paxos (17 km): Meganisi is a tiny island with a lot of charm, which we explore this morning by bike. The panoramic tour takes us along lonely island roads and through three villages, which gives us a good impression of the traditional island life of the Greeks. In the afternoon sail to Paxos Island, whose unique natural harbour creates a special island atmosphere. Spend the evening in a cosy taverna in Gaios. Day 7: Islands of Paxos and Corfu (23 km): Paxos, the smallest of the seven Ionian Islands, is a grove of olive trees, which gives the island its wonderful silver green colour. Circle the island and have your first swim in the Mediterranean on one of the many beaches. After lunch, sail to Corfu town. After dinner you can round off your journey in the atmospheric old town.
