Vienna to Budapest

In the footsteps of the Danube Monarchy

A bike journey between two fascinating capitals interspersed with meadows, fields and towns. Vienna - Budapest is a journey back in time to the past of the Danube monarchy.

The tour begins at the end of the Danube bicycle path to enter the flat landscape of Hungary.

Away from mass tourism, enjoy the quietness, dreamy towns and simple, modest people. Bike to Györ and Tata and dine on gypsy skewers and goulash in the evening.
