Day 1 Ibiza Island:
Embarkation is at 6 pm. Welcome dinner and overnight in Ibiza town.
Day 2 Ibiza Island, Sa Caleta - Cala d’Hort (25 km, 400m ascent):
Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Old Town old town of Ibiza on foot, walking between the walls of the mighty fortress. Sail to the Bay of Sa Caleta to cycle to the highest point on the island and back towards the sea passing vineyards, white-washed fincas and the lovely little town of St. Josef. Have a swim in the turquoise water of the white sand beach Cala d’Hort.
Day 3 Formentera Island, La Savina - La Mola Lighthouse - Es Calo (35 km, 250m of ascent):
Sail to stunning Formentera Island - the smallest inhabited island of the Balearics, known as the Caribbean of the Mediterranean. Cycle to the island capital of San Francesc to the lighthouse of La Mola. This evening relax with a cocktail at the beach bar in the bay of Es Calo.
Day 4 Ibiza Island, Es Canar – Benirras (30 km, 450m ascent):
Sail to Es Canar then cycle tour through the centre of the island with its numerous almond, fig and carob trees and typical red soil of Ibiza. Stop for lunch of delicious Ibizan specialties in the little village of Sant Carlos then cycle along the mountainous and wooded north of Ibiza at an elevation of 300m to the secluded bay of Benirras.
Day 5 Ibiza Island, Benirras - Majorca Island:
Spend the day sailing and head for Port d’Andratx, southwest of Mallorca. Arrive in time for a dip in the ocean and a walk along the promenade of Port d’Andratx. This evening try one of the very good fish restaurants for dinner.
Day 6 Majorca Island, Port d’Andratx – Sant Elm return (38 km, 700m ascent):
Cycle along the coast to the holiday resort of Peguera then on quiet country roads on a 34m high mountain pass to Adratx. Continue to the quiet resort of Sant Elm where you can spend the afternoon swimming or take an option boat trip to the offshore island of Dragonera, a nature and bird sanctuary. Return to Port d’Andratx for overnight.
Day 7 Majorca Island, Sant Elm - Port des Canogne - Port de Soller (40 km, 800m ascent):
Sail along an impressive steep coastline to the sheltered cover of Port des Canonge where you cycle a lovely mountain road across the pass of Coll de Claret (450m) where the views are sublime. Reach the picturesque town of Valldemossa with its Carthusian monastery and flower decorated streets, for lunch after which it’s a scenic ride down to Port de Soller stopping at the artists’ village of Deia and the former Son Marroig Estate. Enjoy a farewell dinner on board with crew, guides and fellow passengers.
Day 8 Tour ends Majorca Island, at Port de Soller:
Disembark after breakfast.
This tour operates in the other direction Mallorca to Ibiza alternate weeks.
Energetic – optional bike tours of 25-40 km, to 260m – 750m above sea level involving long and steep climbs. Electric bikes available.
