On this trip you visit two national parks and the islands of Central Dalmatia.

Croatia has a beautiful and well-indented coast with thousands of islands, reefs and bays. Numerous romantic ruins, charming hills, countless natural beauties and phenomena are waiting to be discovered. Spend a week cruising between the mainland and the sea spending your days cycling. You visit two national parks and the islands of Central Dalmatia. Highlights include UNESCO World Heritage site of Trogir’s Old Town, Primosten, Sibenik with its famous cathedral, Zadar, National Parks Krka-Waterfalls and Kornati Islands. You cycle off after a hearty breakfast. At midday meet the ship at a harbour for lunch. In the evening the ship will be waiting in the next harbour. Enjoy dinner as the sun sets, followed by a stroll through an historic harbour town. Good cuisine, helpful crew and knowledgeable tour guides will ensure a memorable holiday.

Your Journey

Day 1 (Saturday) Trogir – Rogoznica:

Boarding in the picturesque port of Trogir from 2.00 pm. At 3pm we cruise to Rogoznica for our first night.

Day 2 Rogoznica - Primošten - Šibenik – Skraden (19 km):

After breakfast cycle to Primosten. Cruise to Sibenik to visit St. Jacob's Cathedral, then on to Skraden, where we stay the night in the village port.

Day 3 National Park of Krka - Škradin – Vodice (20 km):

From Skradin we exploring the most famous part of the Krka National Park Krka with its unique waterfalls by excursion boat and on foot. In the early afternoon we cruise to Šibenik, From here we cycle to Vodice, a well-known and lively resort on the Dalmatian mainland.

Day 4 Vodice - Island of Murter - Nature Park Telašćica (27 km):

In the morning we cycle from Vodice to Murter Island that is connected to the mainland by the lift bridge at Tisno. We pass old coastal villages, to meet the boat, that will takes us on a cruise through the National Park Kornati, an archipelago in crystal clear water to the Nature Park Telašcica. In the evening a walk through the park leads us along the stunning cliffs of the island. Overnight stay on the Island of Dugi Otok.

Day 5 Dugi Otok – Zadar (30km):

Today’s bike tour leads us along a virtually traffic-free and panoramic road. across the whole island. Later the ship takes us to Zadar, which, for centuries, was the political, cultural and spiritual centre of Dalmatia. Our tour guide takes us on an extensive walk through the lanes of the lively old centre.

Day 6 Pašman & Ugljan – Zlarin (35 km):

First thing the boat crosses to the island of Ugljan at the channel of Zadar. Today we have a lot of time to explore both of the islands Ugljan and Pašman by bicycle. Afterwards our boat cruises to the coral island of Zlarin.

Day 7 Island of Solta (15 or 40km):

In the morning our motor yacht takes us to the island of Solta. Olive and fig trees and farmland surround the streets on our cycle tour to the village of Grohote. Around noon our last cruise takes us back to Trogir. Here we have time to visit the world cultural heritage old town.

Day 8 Disembark in Trogir:

Tour ends after breakfast by 9.00 am.

Terrain

Basic level of fitness is required. The daily routes, of 15-35 km, cover hilly terrain and can be completed without time constraints. There are some steep climbs that can reach 100 - 300 metres. The roads are mostly asphalted and there is little traffic.

Mountain Biking - Mountainous stages of 32 – 55 km and 200 – 900m of elevation per day. The terrain is very diverse as the islands are different from one another, hilly to mountainous with some steep ascents. It requires good physical condition.

Meals

4 days with full board (3 meals) and 3 days half board (2 meals).
